USING MINDFULNESS TO THRIVE IN UNCERTAIN TIMES
75 Minute Zoom Seminar Monday 4th October
With New Zealand’s leading workplace mindfulness trainer Stephen Archer and change specialist Teagan Fea
MORE ENGAGEMENT
GREATER RESILIENCE
IMPROVED MENTAL FITNESS
Imagine everyone in your workplace is engaged, productive and inspired. Relationships flourish and creativity is at an all-time high.
Today, the average attention span is only 3 minutes. 10 years ago it was 12. Office workers self-interrupt or are interrupted every 3 minutes and on average, employees visit Facebook 21 times a day & check emails 74 times each day (Glora Mark- Professor & Wall Street Journal).
This wasted time and lack of clarity is costing your business.
The current pressures of Covid, combined with the information-rich demands of working in the digital age require us to be more stress resilient and have good control over our attention in order to perform well and sustain our wellbeing.
There is compelling scientific evidence that people are better able to cope with the stresses of modern professional life when they learn and regularly practice Mindfulness.
Studies have shown that practicing mindfulness, even for just a few weeks, can bring physical, psychological, and social benefits.
Mindfulness training can boost both our cognitive and emotional intelligence, help us organise our thinking better and give us our best connection with self and others. In this seminar we will explore the benefits, challenges and on-the-ground experience of embracing mindfulness as a professional competency.
